Honestly if I could give this nail salon no stars I would. I went to this nail salon for 2 years consistently because I work close by and I should have stopped going there a long time ago. I had many incidents here where they were rude and very patronizing. First when you walk in the customer service is awful and not welcoming at all, even being a regular there. If you have an appointment you still have to wait about 10 sometimes 15 minutes. On one occasion I was 8 months pregnant and I came on time for my scheduled appointment and had to wait, there was nowhere to sit and they didn't even bother to accommodate a seat for me. I waited on my feet/standing for about 15 minutes. I scheduled an appointment to get my lashes done, first appointment of the day and when I arrived the lash tech was not there so again I had to wait but this time I waited 30 minutes. When the lash tech arrived she was extremely upset and rude, don't know why. As she was doing my lashes the under tape was literally inside my eye lid irritating me so I mentioned this to her and she seemed bothered about it and stated "its supposed to be like that" rudely. Absolutely not! I have never had a lash tech literally put the tape inside my eye lids. The whole time she was on the phone while doing my lashing while hovering above my face. Unacceptable! That was the last time I ever went there for any service. Also there were many times where I witness them being rude to many other customers and will speak so badly about them when they leave. I also have coworkers that stopped going there because of similar situations. I don't recommend this place to anyone.

I’m a dip powder girl through and through. I saw my friend’s nails at work and I had to know who did them and where she goes. She told me Mimi at Gaelic and that’s exactly who I went to next! A couple things I look for: 1. That the nails are not thick (thus looking bulky and chipping more easily). 2. The shape is even and consistent. 3. That the dip goes as close to my cuticles as possible so there is no gap or natural nail showing at the top. Bonus: that they clean up after the glue and cut cuticles. Mimi was careful with all those things! Excellent job! She spent 1 hr and a half on my nails. Highly recommend. She’s the reason I’m leaving my other salon for Gaelic. Mimi, get ready for a new regular.

I have been a loyal client of Gaelic Day Spa for over 20 years because their exceptional standards, stellar service and enjoyable atmosphere has never wavered, even as their business has grown. They will always try their very best to accommodate everyone even to their own detriment. And their talent for the art of nail design is far superior to what is available in my local area. I would recommend to make appointments in advance.

I went once and because Vivian did an AMAZING job (literally the best dip +design I’ve ever gotten), of course I wanted to go back. I booked an appointment that was initially canceled because there wasn’t someone available. Fair. I rebooked the same appointment for a different time, but when I showed up for it, I was told in the MOST condescending way that my appointment was not in the system. I was offered 1 service instead of what I had booked for, which would’ve been fine, if it weren’t for the way in which the woman at the front counter spoke to me. She had the same attitude with me at my first appointment, and I put it aside because of the quality. After this 2nd instance, sadly I will not be returning.

I have never walked out of a mani appointment so satisfied with how my nails turned out, especially French manicures. Cindy did a phenomenal job. She was very careful and paid close attention to details like how my two hands looked together, not just individually. I don’t live close by, but I will definitely be back for her! Only problem was the woman at the front desk wasn’t very friendly. I asked if someone could help me get my socks and shoes on since my nails were still a little wet. I’ve been to many salons before, and I’ve always been helped in this capacity. She said that they don’t do that here. That’s completely fine! But when I asked about oil and plastic for my toes, which I saw up front, available for anyone, she became very short and angry with me. Maybe I offended her, but that was not my intention. Even so, overall very great, and I love my nails!

I usually don’t write reviews but I feel that this is needed. I got my nails done on for birthday Saturday, September 9 for full set design and it’s not even a full week ( Saturday, September 15th) and my nails are already starting to pop off. At first I tried gel when coming and noticed that it didn’t last long barely a week and I just assumed it was my nails because I’ve never found a nail salon that I was able to have gel last two weeks. This is the first time EVER IN LIFE I’m getting a full set that barely last a week. looking at them you would think I would swimming, on vacation,etc. I didn’t do anything to effect my nails, barely even wash the dish and my hands look like they’ve been through everything possible.. pedicures are down but I wouldn’t let them touch your hands and I’ve been to multiple people at this location
